Account Executive

JJ Haines, the largest floor covering distribution company and one of the oldest privately-owned companies in America, is currently seeking a high-energy, motivated individual for our Account Executive position.

Representing Haines and the various floor covering products that we distribute, the Account Executive will be responsible for managing relationships with new and existing businesses including retailers, home construction and property management companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

? Account management of existing customers including the sale of existing and new floor covering products, selling merchandising systems and programs, physically setting up merchandising systems and updating samples of existing systems, product knowledge training, etc.

? New account development consistent with territory budgets.

? Develops and manages customer relationships with various business owners including retailers and property owners, home construction companies, property management, etc.

? Accurately prices and quotes for a wide variety of flooring related products.

? Develops and maintains credit relationships.

? Coordinates with all Haines teams including Sales, Customer Service and Distribution.

? Investigates and resolves customer issues.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Minimum of 2 years of field sales experience with a proven track record of success.

? BA/BS degree. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

? Previous experience in the flooring industry and/or distribution preferred.

? Experience managing multiple customer accounts in the Atlanta market.

? Superior customer service and relationship skills.

? Ability to travel to customer locations within designated sales territory.

? Ability to assemble/disassemble marketing/product displays and change out periodically with new marketing tools, samples and products.

**? Experience using MS Office**: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
