**About the Role**

The Corporate Development Director will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic projects across the enterprise, with a primary focus on enterprise strategy, strategic partnerships, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) initiatives. The Director will collaborate closely with corporate leadership and strategic business leaders, providing comprehensive project status updates, strategic insights, and tactical leadership while ensuring confidentiality and stakeholder satisfaction throughout the delivery of strategic initiatives and project execution.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and analyze the development and execution of project plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, aligning project frameworks with corporate-level initiatives.
- Manage detailed acquisition and strategic partnership projects, including planning, due diligence execution, and defining requirements and timelines for implementation.
- Interface with leadership of acquisition and partnership opportunities, including executives, management personnel, and brokers, regarding evaluation activities and project communications.
- Lead intake processes, documenting new opportunities and establishing internal stakeholder teams.
- Manage closeout procedures, ensuring confidentiality, scope verification, and lessons learned debriefs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the organization to assess and execute corporate strategic initiatives.
- Manage pipeline activity, tracking and reporting metrics during each phase of the strategic development process, providing insights to leadership for decision-making.
- Develop and maintain internal business relationships to facilitate strategic thinking and project leadership.
- Manage project document management, including collection, storage, and controlled access of sensitive materials.
- Educate project teams on processes and procedures for effective execution of strategic initiatives and risk management.
- Communicate project status and directives to stakeholders, managing expectations across departments.
- Lead regular project status meetings and create relevant status updates for stakeholders, team members, external partners, and company executives.
- Oversee administration and execution of contracts internally and with third parties, ensuring proper communication and documentation.
- Document all project activities to ensure corporate compliance, risk reduction, and tracking of support material for strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrate high ethical business practices, corporate confidentiality, and discretion in communication.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within internal business units and implement solutions focused on delivering business results.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in related fields is required.
- Five or more years of project management experience is required.
- Fintech experience in change management, acquisitions, and/or due diligence review is required.
- Previous start-up experience is heavily preferred, especially fintech.
- Five or more years of enterprise-wide project management or PMO experience is required..
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
- Aptitude to accept complex assignments, analyze problems, and generate effective solutions.
- Skills in the areas of project and change management, persuasion, influence, negotiation, leadership, conflict resolution and decision-making.
- Success and experience in execution and deployment of business strategies, including the management and measurement of deliverables.
