Overview:
We are a small neurology clinic with two locations in Santa Monica and Agoura Hills, dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients. We are currently seeking a skilled Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Business Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our clinics and ensure their efficient and effective functioning.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and facility management, create protocols, doctors schedule.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize clinic performance and achieve business objectives.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor and manage clinic budgets, expenses, and revenue generation.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with medical staff to enhance patient care delivery and satisfaction.
- Analyze clinic performance metrics and implement improvements as needed to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote employee engagement and retention.
- Serve as a liaison between clinic management and medical staff.
- Stay abreast of developments in the healthcare industry and implement best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Help develop, lead and implement new business operations and expansions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in healthcare administration or management, preferably in a clinic or medical practice setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff to achieve organizational goals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software.
- Willingness to travel between our two clinic locations in Santa Monica and Agouora Hills as needed.
