Supervisor - Casino Accounting

The Supervisor of Casino Accounting is responsible for overseeing the daily audit of cage, slots, and non-gaming revenue areas and supervising and training Casino Accounting Associates.
- Oversees daily audit work by Casino Account Associate.
- Counts, audits, and balances all revenue and expense related documents with revenue received and expenses paid.
- Compiles reports for Casino Departments for review by Manager.
- Assists with testing for compliance and surprise audits on various casino departments.
- Investigates and reports discrepancies determined through audit process to the Director of Casino Accounting.
- Ensures Casino internal controls are being followed.
- Assists in developing and maintain checklists for completion of work in accordance with policies and procedures and internal controls.
- Prepares daily audit report, daily revenue, and expense reports.
- Maintains accurate records and files pertaining to daily audits of areas of responsibility.
- Prepares the daily and monthly casino statistics.
- Assists in the development and implementation of SOP's.
- Ensures effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and counseling and other personnel related matters are being handled appropriately throughout assigned departments.
- Facilitates and ensures that performance reviews of all employees within department are complete on a yearly basis.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Must be 21 years or older.
- High school diploma. GED, or relevant experience.
- 3 Casino Gaming or Casino Audit experience with 1 year in a supervisory capacity
- Extensive knowledge of state gaming regulations pertaining to casino operations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Prior experience in the gaming industry strongly preferred.
