Position Summary:

We are currently in search of a skilled Financial Controller/Accounting Supervisor to join our organization. This role will report directly to the President and the CFO, overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, thrive in a dynamic environment, and possess a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, job cost projections, invoicing, collections, and cash management.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to ensure accurate billing, payroll, timekeeping, and inventory management.
  • Coordinate with external accountants as necessary, compile reports for regulatory compliance, and prepare financial statements.
  • Collaborate with the President and remote CFO to ensure timely and compliant financial operations.
  • Assist in quarterly and annual financial reporting and audit preparations.
  • Engage in various projects and tasks as required.
  • Manage a team of three internal staff members while collaborating with other office and field team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including supervisory roles.
  • Strong leadership and managerial capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  • Expertise in accounting principles with a hands-on approach.
  • Proactive and self-motivated work ethic.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
  • Recent experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and familiarity with additional software systems.
  • Certification to obtain a PERC card is required.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, with additional compensation negotiable based on experience and performance.
