Michael Page is partnering with a Fortune 200 global, multi-billion dollar manufacturing company near Northbrook, IL. One of their business units is a leading supplier in their niche and is actively searching for an Accounting Supervisor to join their growing team due to an internal promotion.

Job Description

The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for managing 3 direct reports - 2 AP and 1 AR. They will also manage the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 4+ years of accounting experience, with manufacturing experience being a plus. They will also have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).

The Accounting Supervisor will work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis, and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes. They will also be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
