**About Ethos Organizing**
Ethos Organizing is a full-service organizing and grassroots mobilization firm founded by a team of seasoned campaign professionals, activists, and organizers. Ethos is at the forefront of bringing community-based organizing principles to innovative canvassing, ballot initiatives, voter registration, and relational organizing programs. We work in and with all communities, and our shared experiences give us a unique perspective and understanding in BIPOC communities.
**Role Description**
This is a short term role and applicants will be hired as independent contractors. Training will be provided. Payment for work completion will be prompt. We strongly encourage potential applicants who have the qualified skills for the position to apply, regardless of prior campaign experience.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**:
- Ability to use online apps and social media tools
- Must have at least 2 active social media accounts, these accounts must not content content contradictory to the campaign message
- Must be willing to post campaign content on personal social media platforms.
- Detail oriented and able to record information into a online database
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
- Cell phone with access to reliable internet connection
- There is no formal education requirement for this position
**COMPENSATION**:
Independent Contractors will earn $175.00 upon successful completion of personal network engagements. Independent Contractors will also receive an additional $25.00 for each social media post.
If you opted to receive payment via direct deposit or the Paycom Vault card, you will receive it on the Wednesday after you have completed the work. If you opted to receive a paper check, pay will take an additional 7 days to be delivered to you.
Shawmut Services will not report or pay any taxes on the Independent contractors behalf; this is the responsibility of the contractor.
