As a Mobile Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering child-centered, family-focused psychotherapy within the comfort of the client's home or school setting. Your expertise will empower young individuals and their families to navigate challenges and achieve emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to each child's unique needs and treatment plan.
- Collaborate closely with parents, educators, and school personnel to develop supportive routines and implement effective behavioral strategies.
- Develop and execute crisis plans in partnership with families and the treatment team, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and therapeutic needs, guiding the development of individualized treatment plans.
- Assist clients and families in accessing additional resources and support services as needed.
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- A Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- A minimum of one year of experience providing direct mental health services to children and families.
- Strong clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
