Role Overview:

The Mobile Product Owner will be instrumental in shaping and executing mobile product features that resonate with our strategic objectives and user requirements. This role involves overseeing the product backlog, converting the product vision into actionable specifications, and collaborating with diverse teams to ensure effective execution of these specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vision and Strategy Development: Engage with stakeholders to establish the product vision and strategic direction. Develop a roadmap that outlines clear milestones and deliverables.
  • Backlog Oversight: Create, prioritize, and sustain the product backlog. Articulate detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring the development team comprehends the requirements and business value of each item.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Partner closely with developers, designers, and quality assurance teams to deliver superior mobile functionalities. Work with marketing, sales, and support teams to gather insights and ensure the product aligns with market demands.
  • Release Management: Plan and oversee product releases, defining goals and success metrics. Coordinate with the development team to guarantee timely delivery of features and resolutions.
  • User Experience Advocacy: Champion the end-user perspective, ensuring the product provides a seamless and engaging experience. Conduct user research and analyze feedback to guide product decisions.
  • Continuous Enhancement: Monitor product performance and user feedback to pinpoint areas for improvement. Implement modifications based on insights and data analysis to boost product functionality and user satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant certification is advantageous.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role within a mobile product context.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in Agile environments.
  • Proven success in managing all facets of a product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A passion for mobile technology and a commitment to staying informed about industry trends.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in mobile application development and UX/UI design principles.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar software.
  • A data-driven approach with experience in utilizing analytics tools to inform product decisions.
