**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage all aspects of fuel and lubricant inventory accounting, including receiving, recording, and reconciling deliveries and withdrawals.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records for both fuel and lubricant inventories.
- Monitor fuel and lubricant consumption trends and analyze variances to identify potential issues or opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on fuel and lubricant inventory levels, usage, and valuation for management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and finance, to optimize fuel and lubricant inventory management processes and controls.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to fuel and lubricant inventory accounting and reporting.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in fuel and lubricant inventory management and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations.
- Implements Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting.

**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of experience in inventory accounting, with specific experience in fuel and lubricant.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment is critical.

**Education**

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA or CMA certification preferred.

**Relocation**

This position is not eligible for relocation.

**Travel Requirements**

May involve some travel to our sites in Texas - less than 15 days per year.

**Work Schedule/Benefits**

This position is on-site Monday through Friday.
