The Team Leader role is an important part of our business Team Leaders are responsible for equipping their team to succeed while also ensuring that important restaurant tasks are completed accordingly. To serve in the Team Leader capacity, see the description below to learn more about what is required and expected in the role.

**Eligibility**:

- Available a minimum of 3 closing/opening shifts per week
- Open availability on Saturdays
- ** No history** of attendance or punctuality issues
- Consistently demonstrates excellence with Chick-fil-A procedures and processes
- Has memorized, understands, and works in accordance to Vision and Core Values
- Operationally proficient at all positions in either FOH or BOH
- Helps others win during each shift (must be Operationally proficient to do this)
- Completed Pathway content for each position they Lead (BOH/FOH)
- Food safety Pathway course is required for both FOH and BOH Team Leaders
- Completion of Food Safety Agreement

**Expectations / Daily Responsibilities**
- Tasks
- Running breaks
- Placing people in their scheduled position
- Oversees food production numbers to ensure food is always ready, but not overprepared
- Delegating stocking & cleaning tasks
- Ensuring team members are customer focused
- Overseeing opening/closing procedures are executed through the Team Leader.
- Verify completion of checklists
- Team Leaders work alongside other restaurant leaders to ensure Operational Excellence is happening
- Team leader makes decisions in the moment to achieve Operational Excellence
- ** Team Leaders are NOT expected to lead shifts when training a new team member, however Team Leaders should be generally available to train new team members as they are hired**:

- Team Leaders always look for opportunities to develop those around them, whether they are new to the team or not
- Pathway is always the reference point for a Team Leader with regard to Operations, and Opening/Closing procedures
- Team Leaders use their phone for Pathway responsibly during their shift - Food Safety guidelines around cell phone use still apply*
- Teachable spirit is always present - Team Leaders look for opportunities to improve _themselves_ and welcome feedback from others

- eRQA
- Safe Daily Critical

**REQUIREMENTS**:
