Ervin Cable Construction LLC is expanding and is in search of Aerial and Underground Construction Team Leaders.

A successful Team Leader will oversee one or more aerial and/or underground telecommunications construction teams; ensuring that the installation, maintenance, and/or repair of telecommunications equipment is executed safely, promptly, and accurately.

At a minimum, this role requires a solid understanding of telecommunications construction; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and various telecommunications construction tools; proficiency in using cable placement equipment; and the ability to identify and resolve issues.

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate, through training or experience:
- The ability to work safely, independently or as part of a team
- The capability to coordinate the activities of others
- The stamina to work standing, at shoulder height and overhead, for extended durations
- The physical ability to lift and handle lasher and other cable placement equipment
- The capacity to work at heights, whether from a ladder, aerial lift device, or by gaffing
- Excellent manual dexterity
- The skill to prioritize and organize workload effectively
- The ability to communicate clearly with company personnel, clients, and contractors to ensure task completion
- The understanding and operation of equipment, including but not limited to aerial lift devices, lashers, and hand tools

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and provide leadership to employees within an assigned area, department, or project
- Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Implement and uphold processes to facilitate task completion in support of an assigned area, department, or project
- Communicate effectively with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or clients to assist an assigned area, department, or project

Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in a relevant field or 3 years of related work experience
- Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience
- Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and motor vehicle record checks

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:


To be eligible for this position, candidates must be able to sit for extended periods while performing repetitive and/or fine hand movements for computer-related tasks and/or other office functions.

Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation, as well as in rugged terrains such as back easements, rural locations, and active construction sites.

Noise levels may vary from moderate to loud and from intermittent to constant.
