**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Are you the person who loves checking boxes and bringing order to chaos? Building presentations and seeing a project from start to finish may seem like a drag to most, but to you it is nirvana. You are knowledgeable about building processes, developing timelines, and project coordination. You love working on multiple projects with multiple people, holding teams accountable, and you thrive in an autonomous environment.
If that sounds like you, GLORIOUS You might be the People Project Coordinator we are looking for An ultimate control freak (in a good way) who loves managing projects and timelines that support employee success and cultivate a unique culture, while also establishing rock solid processes and policies.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Serve as the project coordinator for our People Department (which focuses on coaching and mentoring, creating clear culture trainings, HR policies and procedures, and legal procedures)
- Coordinate and track the execution of tasks while closely monitoring project deadlines and proactively renegotiating due dates as needed
- Monitor and analyze team bandwidth to proactively assign tasks
- Ingest, assign, track, and manage incoming requests from other teams
- Improve upon and build processes to create more efficient workflows as we evolve and grow
- Effectively communicate the status of projects to key role holders
- Wrangle unicorns and tend to the octopus garden
- Basically Marie Kondo-ing the heck out of our employee experiences as well as development processes and task management
- This role is in the People Department and will report directly to the Chief People Officer
- Perform other related duties as assigned
**ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Loves everything above
- May or may not have a degree...we don't care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
- Asks a lot of questions
- 3+ years proven working experience in project management
- Is excellent at monitoring timelines to ensure deadlines are met and/or renegotiated as needed
- Experience in HR, hiring or learning and development project management is a BIG plus
- Loves building and improving processes
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- A self-starter who can rely on their skill in prioritizing and organizing their workflow to coordinate multiple teams
- Dependable with the willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency (a team player)
- Enthusiastically approaches opportunities to work with various teams
- Loves holding people accountable and has mastered it
- Loves the work more than a paycheck
- Thinks planning and organizing are fun
