The Automotive Office Assistant will handle information regarding motor vehicle acquisitions and post transactions in a timely matter. The Automotive office Assistant will use computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Reynolds & Reynolds Dealer Management System.
**Job Duties Include**:
- Records and file completed vehicle sales deals.
- Stock in New Vehicles as they arrive. New car entries.
- Posting of Completed Deals/Accounting
- Updating Honda Balances
- Cleaning schedules
- Data Entry and Review
- Posting invoices/vouchers /payment requests
- Checks for accuracy before posting anything to accounting.
- Inputs new vehicles received into Dealer Management System.
- Bills out all dealer trades and prepares Certificates of Origin.
- Problem resolutions of account related issues Balancing statements & finalizing data
- Entering invoices; entering, posting and reconciling batches
- Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures.
- Performs other accounting functions and data entry.
- Maintain high level of discretion and confidentiality Familiarity with auto dealership process and car deal paperwork
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalency and 2 years’ experience in automotive title processing.
- Knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products.
- Knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds a plus.
- Knowledge of office practices and equipment.
- Knowledge of basic math
- Knowledge and the ability to utilize good listening skills
- Ability to organize, establish priorities, multitask, work with mínimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Notary license a plus.
