POSITION OVERVIEW:

The role involves building strong working relationships with key customer representatives and ensuring effective communication regarding daily operations and projects. You will coordinate with both the customer base and relevant internal personnel to manage project work, develop schedules, and facilitate meetings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key customer contacts.

  • Analyze paint and process challenges, utilizing formal problem-solving techniques.
  • Generate necessary reports, data, and documentation related to projects and customer accounts.
  • Coordinate technical service requirements for customers.
  • Recommend process modifications to improve product performance.
  • Manage sample submissions and production trials.
  • Participate in facility improvement programs.
  • Assist in developing application line correlations and formula verifications.
  • Communicate color adjustments made on batches and samples to appropriate personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant industry experience or 6 years of applicable experience in automotive coatings and processes.
  • Proficient in computer software including MS Office and SAP.
  • Strong understanding of color measurement tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interpersonal skills and flexibility in work hours.
  • Strong analytical skills for defect identification.
  • Ability to visually assess color and make necessary adjustments.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of application processes and equipment.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Capability to lift up to 70 lbs.
