**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. Flexibility with hours. Computer skills necessary.

**Duties**:

- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person or department
- Provide excellent customer support and ensure a positive experience for visitors and clients
- Receive and distribute daily mail
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, receiving and recording customer payments, bank runs, assisting with processing and mailing invoices, as needed
- Support the office manager in various administrative tasks

**Minimum job qualification requirements**:

- Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to quickly pick up new technologies and concepts
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, English
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)

Note: This position does not require experience in a dental or medical office.

- High school or equivalent

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 2 years (preferred)
- Goldmine: 2 years (preferred)
- Sage 50: 2 years (preferred)
