Human Resource Assistant 2

**THE POSITION**:
**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
The main responsibility of this position is to offer support to employees by addressing any questions they may have regarding the workers' compensation program, policies, and procedures. Additionally, the role involves acting as a workers' compensation assistant, which includes initiating communication with injured employees and their supervisors, as well as managing and updating WC claims as required.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, once your chain of command confirms you have been adequately trained to do so. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:
- One year of experience as a Human Resource Assistant 1; **or**:
- Two years of clerical or other comparable experience, one year of which involved performance of limited technical duties in the field of human resource work; **or**:
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
**Other Requirements**:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
