We are seeking a dedicated, professional and hard working HRBP to join our team in Essex County, NJ.

This position is fully onside: Monday - Friday (8:00AM - 5:00PM)

6 MONTH CONTRACT ASSISGNMENT

Position Overview: The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to the business units within our medical organization, providing expert guidance and support on all aspects of human resources management. The HRBP will work closely with leaders and employees to cultivate a positive work environment, drive organizational effectiveness, and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their objectives and develop HR strategies that support the achievement of business goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on a wide range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational design.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR best practices, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for key positions within assigned business units, collaborating with hiring managers to identify talent needs and attract top candidates.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including culture-building activities, recognition programs, and employee feedback mechanisms.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions to address issues and foster a positive work environment.
  • Partner with the HR team to implement company-wide HR programs and initiatives, ensuring consistency and alignment with company values.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance organizational performance.
  • Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a business partner or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and effective solutions.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
