**About the Role**

Stetco’s increasing capacity and need to keep pace with ever-growing market success has created a rare opening in our shop. We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to work with the Operations Manager and Accounting Manager - to procure, ship, stage, and receive products for customers and the service team, and be responsible for inventory control, including making the appropriate bookkeeping/accounting entries/ The Purchasing Manager will also work closely with the accounting department, sales team, production team, and President of Stetco. Tech savviness and curiosity will take you far in this role.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers.
- Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements.
- Process purchase orders to acquire goods.
- Receive inventory from suppliers and stock product.
- Responsibility for parts inventory and control of inventory.
- Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing.
- Manage an efficient flow of parts & pieces to ensure efficient production.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and President of Stetco to ensure terms are favorable.
- Attend meetings with the production team, operations manager, vendors and suppliers

**MINIMUM & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Valid Drivers license
- Accounting/bookkeeping experience (preferred)
- Basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions.
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Computer literacy and familiarity of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience and familiarity with QuickBooks and SOS (highly preferred)
- Forklift certification (preferred)
- Prior experience in automotive, heavy trucks, or hydraulics parts environment (highly preferred)

**COMPENSATION**

Competitive salary for this position, with an anticipated range of $90,000 - $110,000 annually, will be commensurate with prior experience and qualifications.
