**What you’d do at Verde**:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Bilingual Administrative Assistant proficient in Mandarin Chinese, and English to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a key role in facilitating communication between English-speaking and Mandarin/Chinese-speaking stakeholders. This position requires excellent language skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:
**Language Support**:

- Act as a bridge between English-speaking and Mandarin/Chinese-speaking team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Conduct verbal translation during meetings and conversations as needed.

**Administrative Support**:

- Assist in managing day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document organization.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.
- Prepare and distribute internal and external communications.

**Customer Service**:

- Provide excellent customer service to Mandarin/Chinese-speaking clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

**Office Coordination**
- Ensure the office is well-maintained and organized.
- Assist in ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory.

**Construction Site Support**:

- Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure seamless communication between English-speaking and Mandarin/Chinese-speaking personnel.
- Attend construction site meetings and provide translation services as necessary.
- Assist in coordinating logistics for construction-related activities.

**Audit Assistance**:

- Conduct Audits as required.
- Support audit processes by translating relevant documents and assisting auditors with language-related requirements.
- Ensure that audit information is accurately communicated to all stakeholders in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

**Other duties as assigned.**

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and English (spoken and written).
- Previous experience in administrative roles is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong judgment and discretion to work with extremely confidential information.

**Work Environment**:
The Bilingual Administrative Assistant will work in a dynamic construction site setting, where the noise level may range from moderate to loud depending on the job site. The role involves exposure to adverse environmental conditions typical of construction environments. Employees should be comfortable adapting to changing conditions, including varying weather and construction-related activities. Safety is paramount, requiring adherence to all construction site protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment. The work environment may involve physical activities such as walking and standing, and reasonable accommodations will be considered for individuals with disabilities.
