Days Hotel Flagstaff is one of the top hotels in Flagstaff. Our 100 room property boats an indoor pool and hot tub, and is connected to Northern Pines, Flagstaff's favorite for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be fully trained in all front desk positions and procedures.
- Hire and train all front desk staff
- Schedules the front desk team
- Evaluates the job performance of each front desk employee.
- Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of front desk staff
- Inspect rooms
- Cover shifts as needed
- Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules.
- Check the cash register and verify cash payments. Enforces all cash-handling, check-cashing, and credit policies.
- Reconcile daily arrivals.
- Monitor high balance guests and take appropriate action.
- Maintains working relationships and communication with all departments.
- Upholds the hotel's commitment to hospitality.
- Is an expert on the local area and can make high quality recommendations
- Ensure that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers, and other employees.
- Constantly looking for ways to improve the staff and the guest experience
- Maintain required pars of all front office and stationary supplies.
- Review Front office log book on a daily basis.
- Help with Manager On Duty shifts.
