**TALENTED, AMBITIOUS AND READY FOR A NEW CHALLENGE?** We are currently looking for a Service Coordinator to work in our Portsmouth, Virginia office. The position will report to the Operations Manager.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Coordinating execution of service jobs onboard vessels and offshore installations;
- Process received requests for quotations/verifications, purchase orders, government bids and changes or cancellations directly from customers. Respond immediately to customer inquiries/information needs and provide positive, courteous service to customers;
- Prepare quotations and order configurations and reviews with Operations Manager or Area Sales Manager prior to submission to customer;
- Defining and contacting new potential customer for service sales;
- Provide first line of support to Service Engineers during job execution;
- Briefing before the job and Debriefing after the job with the service engineers in preparation of follow-up document if required, ensure that any feedback from Service Engineers are handled and conveyed;
- Maintaining job folders and ensure that service reports, documents and certificates are uploaded in the ERP system;
- Responsible for ensuring that all projects are invoiced and closed and create billing summaries;
- Process expense reports and weekly time sheets for service engineers;
- Maintain service engineer schedules/calendar;
- Month end KPI reporting with month end accruals;
- Customer Satisfaction follow up;
- Work in accordance with Palfinger Marine guidelines, latest Strategy, Quality Manual, HSE policy and applicable laws and regulations;
- Works flexible hours and overtime if requested;
- Work well with other Palfinger Marine personnel and global office locations;
- Look for and advise ways to help improve the Company;
- Service Coordinator shall assist project/sales to carry out order contracts and service works;
- Follow up of external and internal orders according to the work instructions;
- All task shall be carried out in conformity with the company strategies and goals as described;
- Take charge with coordination between clients and Palfinger Marine;
- Must be familiar with invoicing, order taking & processing and be a team player;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent is required;
- General mechanical knowledge is preferred;
- Technical background in Maritime/offshore services environment is preferred;
- A thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn specific computer software and processes
- Ability to coordinate multiple jobs simultaneously while maintaining efficiency and expectations;
- Proficient in telephone communications required;
- Excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills together with an ability to deliver a high standard of customer service is mandatory.
- Ability to professionally and respectfully mitigate/resolve arising issues or conflicts with peers and customers;
- Relevant working experience can compensate for education level;
- Experience in planning and coordination of personnel off-site;
- Fluent English speaking and writing is required.
