Patient Care Coordinator - Cardiology Services
This role encompasses a variety of receptionist and administrative tasks within the front office. As a collaborative team member, you will also take on additional responsibilities as needed, ensuring that all age groups receive the care they deserve. Your flexibility and willingness to assist in various capacities will be essential.
Key Responsibilities
Office Duties:
- Patient registration and data entry.
- Collection of co-payments from patients.
- Conducting patient reminder calls to confirm appointments and necessary referrals.
- Coordinating physician orders following patient visits, including scheduling further appointments and tests.
- Performing additional tasks as directed by management.
Patient Access Center Responsibilities:
- Efficiently managing a high volume of incoming calls.
- Completing initial registrations for new patients and updating their information in the database.
- Documenting phone interactions as necessary.
- Assuming other duties as assigned by management.
Equipment Utilized:
Telephone, copier, computer systems (including keyboard, monitor, printer), and other office equipment.
