We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our team Within the assigned region, the RSM will grow the business profitably by growing existing customers and acquiring new customers; contribute to Norman's management strength through managing the Territory Sales Managers and the accounts within the region. This position will be covering the Mid-West region.

**Primary responsibilities for this position will include but not limited to**:

- Responsible for region level sales growth,
- Implementing and driving engagement of regional and corporate sales initiatives,
- Utilize reports form systems such as Sales Force to manage Territory Sales Managers and Regional Sales activity and performance,
- Builds relationships with customers and prospects for assigned region.
- Develop the Region
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of Territory Sales Managers (TSM) as needed
- Develop TSM's product and sales knowledge, salesmanship, and analytical ability to establish and drive sales growth,
- Assists, directs, and collaborate with TSM's in building new business,
- Conduct presentations as needed.
- Communicates to customers the company's value proposition
- Secures appointments with key decision-makers above the sales level be able to close business deals with business owners and key decision-makers.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills & Training**:

- Successful track record of managing and leading a team of field sales representatives
- Must have previous account management experience and outside sales with strong closing skills.
- Knowledge and background in window coverings industry or related home furnishings industry a plus
- Sound analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in Office Suite, Salesforce or other CRM system; social media
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Basic product knowledge and technical understanding of all Norman products
- Detailed understanding of Norman website and sales administration functions therein
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work flexible hours is a must.
- Willing to travel and/or overnight is required.
