The Aladdin Shriners are looking for an Office Generalist. The Aladdin Shriners is a men’s fraternity that is based around having fun and helping kids. Shriners International has many hospitals across the United States, Canada, and Mexico that help children with orthopedic, burn, and other conditions regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Aladdin Shriners is in Grove City, Ohio and has a jurisdiction of 33 counties in Ohio. We host many fun events every year and do many different activities to support Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.

We are looking for someone to help support our administrative operations. The person filling this role would wear many hats, including being the first person that visitors or callers interact with. You will also be helping with basic office tasks, including many duties related to using Microsoft Office, and other online solutions we use. This role would also be requested at times to help with basic accounting duties.

**Office Generalist Job Responsibilities**:

- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
- Answers phone calls, schedules meetings, electronic messages and supports visitors.
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.
- Makes travel arrangements for senior staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.
- Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
- Ensures operation of office equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Provides information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Helping members register for events as needed
- Getting, organizing, and passing out mail
- Other tasks as assigned

This position is a full-time position that will primarily work 9:00am-4:30pm, with some flexibility required as need for members services during events outside of the normal work day. These hours may fluctuate depending on what events may be going on in the building.

- Ability to learn new computer-based systems
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 38 per week
