**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
In this position, you will perform varied administrative staff work of a complex nature for the Accountant 4 and Division Chief in the Division of Food and Nutrition (DFN). You will work independently to research federal and state laws, regulations, official guidance, and required procedures to initiate purchasing and contracting documents. You will advise the Division Chief on procurement methods to be used when making large purchases or contracting for a diverse range of services, including purchases of educational materials and services for training of public and non-public school personnel; curriculum and software development and maintenance; and applied research. With the exception of developing Requests for Proposals (RFP), you will be responsible for the development of all procurement and contracted documents, both original and amended, and routing these documents through the required approval process.

**W**ork Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year of experience performing technical purchasing or contract management work; and a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, project, or operations management, or a related field; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
