Job Summary:
The Department of Economic Security, Division of Benefits and Medical Eligibility (DBME) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Human Resources Analyst. Under general supervision of the DBME Human Resources Supervisor, the Human Resources Analyst will work independently on a variety of tasks and projects as required and deemed necessary to support the DBME Human Resources Staffing/Recruitment team. This position performs work of moderate difficulty dealing with sensitive and highly confidential personal information. This position has general knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in the area of Staffing/Recruitment.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Communicate with applicants to schedule interviews. Review interview results with the Staffing/Recruitment team and hiring managers; assist with interview outcomes.
- Screen applicants and conduct background verifications; administers examinations and tests to assess applicants; follows up with applicants to gather missing information.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for the DBME Human Resources Staffing/Recruitment team.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
**Knowledge in**:

- Federal and state employment laws, statutes, rules and regulations.
- Current principles, practices and methods used in the administration of staffing/recruitment.
- Agency policies, rules, and regulations.
- Principles and practices of modern organizational development.
- Computer systems including Google Suite and Microsoft products.

**Skilled in**:

- Communicating effectively verbally and in writing,
- Establishing priorities and manage a diverse workload.
- Developing and implementing various improvement initiatives for assigned program areas.

**Ability to**:

- Analyze specific problem situations and determine acceptable solutions within the framework of laws, rules and regulations.
- Performs research, collect and analyze data and report information.
- Comprehend and make inferences from written material.
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.

Selective Preference(s):

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or closely related field.
- Relevant HR Certification.
