There is currently an opportunity to join our growing team We have a Collections Associate position available.

**Position Summary**:
Responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patients. Records information regarding the financial status of collection efforts. Notifies customers of delinquent accounts and will arrange for debt repayment schedules based upon the patient?s financial situation. Places high volume of phone calls and will review the terms of service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide above and beyond customer service to our patients
- Record information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts.
- Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone to solicit payment
- Locate and monitor overdue accounts, using computers and a variety of automated systems
- Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on patients? financial situations
- Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment
- Answer customer questions regarding problems with their accounts
- Persuade customers to pay amounts due on credit accounts, damage claims, or non-payable checks, or to return merchandise
- Confer with customers by telephone to determine reasons for overdue payments and to review the terms of sales, service, or credit contracts
- Provide assistance and coverage in other office roles as directed by leadership
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned
