Accounts Payable Specialist

This in an entry-level opportunity with a regional family-owned and professionally managed company, serving the hospitality and healthcare markets since 1934.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expense accounts are charged by cost center.
- Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities and scheduling and preparing checks.
- Processes expense report and prepare payments.
- Prepare excel spreadsheets for management.
- Experience 1 - 3 years in accounts payable.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs.
- Perform other duties that are needed to support the accounting department.
