Since its foundation in 1984, PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. PATH operates services throughout California, connecting our clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention, street outreach, employment preparation and placement assistance, individualized case management, supportive services, interim housing, and permanent supportive housing.

**ABOUT THE JOB**
As part of the Interim Housing team, the Director of Interim Housing programs will be responsible for providing oversight to the operations and services at interim housing sites serving single adults, families, and veterans. Guiding the department to be more innovative, effective, and efficient at achieving the organization's goals and objectives. The Director of Interim Housing Programs will mentor and manage staff, assisting in the creation and execution of leadership development plans for each supervisee, which will identify concrete ways to expand the capacity and expertise of these individuals.

Position Responsibilities include:

- Provide administrative, fiscal, and programmatic oversight to multiple interim housing programs located throughout Los Angeles County operating 24 hours.
- Responsible for the planning, implementation, and coordination of daily operations at each interim housing site to ensure the programs are meeting compliance with programmatic, facility, and funder requirements.
- Assist in all areas of program development and evaluation to ensure that programs are effective, efficient, and consistent with the organization's mission and goals.
- Collaborate, manage, and maintain effective relationships with external partners, organizations and stakeholders serving the needs of the shelter participants and their families.
- Identify and supervise the training needs and development of staff, working in conjunction with program management personnel. Training and development topics may include Harm Reduction, Trauma Informed Care, PTSD, substance abuse, counter
- transference, suicide/homicide risk assessment and crisis intervention.
- Ensure appropriate data collection and reporting as required by funders, government entities and agency senior management. Prepare progress and performance reports for internal and external communication.
- Responsible for ensuring contract and grant deliverables are met by both in-house programs and subcontractors.
- Establish and uphold agency policies in all areas of service delivery and work with internal directors and executive leadership to ensure that best practices are being effectively executed, so the needs of all of the agency clients are addressed.
- Assist in evaluating potential funding opportunities, determining whether the opportunity is appropriate for PATH to pursue, and developing proposals in response.
- Provide excellent project management skills; manage and facilitate multiple projects and teams simultaneously
