As Coordinator of Payroll, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless processing of our bi-weekly payroll. You will serve as the go-to expert for all payroll-related inquiries, maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor while delivering exceptional service to our team members.

Payroll Processing:

- Overseeing the processing of the bi-weekly payroll, you have delivered on your commitment to accuracy and execute payroll with remarkable precision. The strong relationships you’ve cultivated with our partners at ADP has ensured payroll runs are smooth processes with planful and predictable execution.
- The records of team member PTO balances and benefit accruals are spotless. You’ve established a routine for yourself to accurately execute pay calculations of benefit deductions, time off, parental leave and final pays as they arise.
- Supporting ad hoc requests for unemployment claims, employment verifications, quarterly and year-end payroll tax reviews and report submissions is part of your regular routine.
- You’ve made sure that off-cycle payrolls are few and far between, but when they have come up you’ve partnered to ensure they are handled promptly and skillfully to accurately process checks within designated timelines. But you don’t stop there, you’ve ensured that measures are put in place to avoid the error happening in the future too.

Team Member Support:

- Your friendly and service-oriented demeanor has built confidence and trust among team members. Your proactive communication to payroll inquiries ensures that team members’ data remains accurate, and questions about balances and timecards are answered quickly.
- You’ve created open communication lines with People leaders to review and rectify timecards as needed, ensuring accurate coding of hours for all time worked, including accuracy in shift differential pay for example, to ensure an accurate and on time payroll every pay period.

Data Management and Reporting:

- As new hires have joined the Torani team you have ensured that they are set up as a team member accurately and all team members know to come to you when they need support to update their personal information and you’ll provide a friendly assist.
- Your oversight of the timeclock setup and maintenance ensures it’s always operational and running smoothly, and you’ve trained new team members on how to use the time clock.
- You’ve utilized ADP/Workforce Now to generate reports as assigned and you’ve taken those reports up a level to customize them to use for data analysis as needed, excel skills (vlook up especially) has come in handy for you along the way.

Minimum Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:

- 1-2 year of work experience, preferably with both salaried and hourly team member. Multi state a plus
- Positive collaboration skills with both internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional team member service and support.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as ADP. Workforce Now strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week with regular attendance and punctuality.
- Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Residency in the SF Bay Area or willingness to relocate at your own expense.

Hourly Base Pay Range: $30.96 - $37.84
