Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy in wage calculations, deductions, bonuses, and tax withholdings.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, as well as internal company policies and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Record Management: Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, pay rates, tax exemptions, direct deposit details, and deductions for each company.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and any issues related to payroll processing.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute payroll reports for management, accounting, and auditing purposes, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to stakeholders.
  • Coordination with HR: Work closely with human resources departments across companies to ensure employee benefits, leaves, and other HR-related data are accurately reflected in payroll.
  • Audits and Compliance Reviews: Assist with internal and external payroll audits, providing necessary documentation and correcting discrepancies as required.

Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Proven experience in payroll administration, with a preference for candidates with experience handling payroll for multiple companies.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, Gusto, QuickBooks Payroll) and Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to manage multiple payroll cycles and meet deadlines under pressure.
