**Position: Brokerage Sales Executive **Reporting to the Branch Manager of a premier provider of transportation and logistics solutions. This position will have dotted line Direction from the SCS VP of Sales for process, systems and performance metrics.

This highly motivated individual will grow new and existing business and have a proven ability to maximize relationships with customers utilizing personal contacts, networking, and negotiating to grow sustainable profitable business relationships. Challenge is to develop new business thru consistent and effective prospecting, identification of customer needs, and alignment of Dupre SCS services while maintaining margin integrity.

**Background Required**:

- 2 + years Inside sales / Business Development within transportation brokerage
- Mode of Transportation (i.e. Truckload, LTL, Flatbed, Reefer, Intermodal, etc.)
- Exceptional Prospecting Skills
- Understanding of market dynamics and the factors that impact pricing strategies
- Hunter Sales mentality, focus on new customer growth
- Strong Selling Skills, Strong track record of building a book of business.
- Strong Negotiator and Closer (Customer, Margin Integrity)
- Develop and execute business plan strategies (Bid proposal packages-larger customers)
- Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)

**Background Preferred (but not required)**:

- Technology: CRM (Sugar), Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Outside Sales within transportation Brokerage
