Create Music Group is an LA-based digital music company that provides artists and labels with distribution, rights management, and creative services. We monetize billions of monthly music streams and have collected over millions in previously unclaimed revenue for artists and labels. Clients include Ice Spice, Future, JLo, City Girls, Slander, Marshmello, Don Diablo, Trippie Redd, Migos, and more.
**SUMMARY**:
The Publishing Assistant will be responsible for maintaining metadata and ensuring proper work registrations.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Work/asset onboarding and registration maintenance for a specific set of writers
- Maintain and update metadata in internal database
- Resolve claim and asset disputes
- Complete registrations with collection societies
- Research catalogs, song histories, credits, and record information
- Occasional note taking and other administrative tasks as assigned by the team
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant internship or full-time work experience, preferably in music or entertainment
- Excellent technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Apps, Slack, Asana, Tableau
- Proficiency in basic social media functions/platforms and familiarity with current trends/campaigns
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with well independently and as part of a team along with staff of all levels
- Ability to have meticulous attention to detail and follow-through with proper and consistent updates to stakeholders
- Ability to be extremely organized with strong time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under tight schedules while maintaining production of high-quality work
- Ability to work well strategically in an ambiguous environment
**PAY SCALE**:
- $18.00 - $19.00/hour
