Serco has a great opportunity for a Navy Financial Analyst who has experience providing financial support services to the U.S. Navy in Washington DC. You will be part of a large team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality solutions to the Surface Navy. This team has been recognized by the Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program. Our team takes a customer and employee focus to ensure a positive team working environment. This position works directly with Senior Level Civil Service leadership as part of the Finance team supporting PMS 443 HM&E portfolio programs to include: development of program status briefs, action tracking lists, coordination and setup of meetings, preparation of meeting minutes, and assist PM with monitoring cost, schedule and performance of each program objective.

In this role, you will:

- Work with project managers and task leads within PMS 443 and other Naval Activities to manage funding including input, monitoring, validation, tracking, through the Navy Enterprise Planning System (NEPS)
- Maintain program planning and execution spreadsheets across the PMS 443 HM&E Portfolio
- Track program funding performance against ERP reports and manage status of funds and recommend alternative solutions to allocating funding.
- Develop briefs and financial status reports such as developing Program Objective Memorandum Briefs or financial data calls/budget drills from the SEA 21 CFO or PMS 443 BFMs
- Attend Budget Execution Meetings and take notes and action items

Sustainment Manager Support Duties
- Assist with preparation of program reviews and system health reviews, monitor progress, and take notes
- Work with project managers and task leads to manage funding including input, monitoring, validation, tracking, through the Navy Enterprise Planning System (NEPS)
- Develop briefs for Program Objective Memorandum and program reviews

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

- A Bachelor’s degree in related discipline plus 2-4 years of directly related experience in financial program planning, administration, budgets, and development.
- In some cases, education requirements may be adjusted or waived for an additional 4 years of applicable work experience
- Financial management experience supporting DON or DOD
- Understands financial management policies, regulations, and meetings financial management milestones, that supports 443’s goals
- Proficiency with MS with Excel and Powerpoint
- Understanding and knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.
- Experience using the following Navy programs:

- Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP)
- Navy Enterprise Planning System (NEPS)
- Knowledge of DOD and USN Policies and Procedures, specifically including knowledge of the Navy Financial System and understanding of the requirements, planning and budget process is required.
- Flexibility to travel up to 10%.
