The International Multiple Sclerosis Management Practice (IMSMP) is seeking an exceptional medical administrative assistant to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals to assist in providing the highest-quality patient care while managing essential administrative duties. This individual must have excellent interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written
communication skills; be organized and detail oriented; have an ability to
multitask and be able to work together with a team.

This is a full-time, on-site position Monday-Friday, with the potential for a 4-day workweek. The role involves:
**Responsibilities**:

- Providing administrative support to a team of registered nurses, streamlining operational
workflows.
- Managing referrals for infusion therapy to offsite facilities and overseeing the infusion tracking system.
- Collaborating with offsite facilities to ensure seamless infusion receipt.
- Conducting patient reminders and follow-ups.
- Assisting registered nurses in patient management.
- Handling phone inquiries and assisting patients related to referral.
- Documenting patient medical records and maintaining confidentiality.
- Managing, stocking, and organizing exam rooms and clinical areas.
- Assisting in ordering and maintaining medical supplies and equipment.
- Interacting with patients compassionately and professionally.
- Escorting and aiding patients with transfers.
- Assisting with procedures under RN/MD supervision.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma/GED required, associate degree or above preferred
- Certification as a medical assistant, patient care associate, or LPN, phlebotomy training
preferred.
- 2 years of proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Strong analytical thinking and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Relevant training or certifications in patient coordination
- Understanding of healthcare laws, regulations, and clinical standards
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with
patients, families, physicians, and colleagues

Compensation is based on the individual's unique knowledge, qualifications, experience, and expected contributions.
