Accountant/business Manager

Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including analytical review of

financial results to ensure timely and accurate accounting records are maintained.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day accounting and financial operations, including general ledger

maintenance, payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliations

to ensure the proper and timely processing of billing and payments.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements, bank and general ledger

reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly journal entries for payroll, accruals, prepaid expenses, and accounts

receivable.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry-specific accounting standards and

their implications for the company's financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide accurate

and timely insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
- Processing, reconciliation, and oversight for our high volume of invoices. Including

primary internal and external contact to answer questions and explain any changes

related to invoices.
- Develop and maintain budget and expense controls.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity

of financial data and the organization's continued growth.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field - MBA or CPA a plus.
- Two to five years professional experience.
- San Diego resident (North County)
- Healthy level of curiosity, excited about our industry, sense of humor, and enjoys

working with others.
- Self-directed professional with self-confidence and desire to share your ideas and

knowledge.
- Comfortable providing hands-on accounting and partnering with leadership on

high-level strategy, strategic planning, and growth plans.
- Enthusiastic about collaborating with our clients and vendors to ensure exceptional

service.
- QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intermediate to Advanced Excel and

Access.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, with the ability to be flexible, and excited to be part of a

successfully growing company 80 year old company.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
