**GENERAL SUMMARY**:We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated individual to join our team as a **Centering Coordinator**. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the Steering Committee, coordinating activities necessary to achieve and maintain the quality and sustainability of Centering practices. You will provide administrative support to Centering Pregnancy and/or Centering Parenting programs and serve as a liaison to the Centering Healthcare Institute. Your efforts will ensure the seamless operation and continuous improvement of our Centering services.

**DESCRIPTION**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Centering Committee Member and Coordinator**:

- Serve as a key member of the Centering Committee.
- Participate in developing agendas for scheduled Centering Committee meetings.
- Facilitate and/or take minutes at meetings.
- Follow up with individuals on action items.
- Communicate with staff about the work of the Centering Committee.

**Centering Participation, Evaluation, and Administrative Support**:

- May co-facilitate Centering groups.
- Ensure master schedules are developed and maintained for Centering groups, coordinating dates, space, and schedules of the Centering provider facilitators and staff facilitators.
- Manage logístical issues for Centering groups, including ordering supplies and materials, snacks, assessment equipment, and arranging room setup and breakdown.
- Enroll Centering participants and/or monitor the enrollment process to ensure optimal group size; orient staff involved in the enrollment process.
- Arrange for new hire staff and providers to receive Centering facilitation training.
- Serve as a liaison with the Centering Healthcare Institute and/or Centering Implementation Advisor for startup, ongoing maintenance, and problem-solving as needed.
- Collect and review patient satisfaction surveys and facilitator process evaluations.
- Oversee and/or conduct ongoing data collection and reporting.
- Prepare for the initial site accreditation visit and submit data for continued accreditation status.
- Train and act as a point person for volunteers or students assisting with Centering, if applicable.
- Provide outreach to other departments and community stakeholders and agencies to educate others about Centering.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a role involving program coordination or patient coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, program evaluation processes, and healthcare regulations, with a commitment to compliance and ethical conduct.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a patient-centered approach to care delivery.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a virtual interdisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in healthcare delivery.
