As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating and managing sales and CRO services for protein reagents used in cell culture and bioassays, compound library screening, and protein molecule structure determination via X-ray and cryo-EM in the San Diego region.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue growth and market share in the San Diego territory
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, including demonstrating service and products in their laboratories
- Collaborate with the team of scientists to build new products to meet customer needs
- Work independently to build and grow your customer base while also being a strong team player
- Meet or exceed sales goals by utilizing effective sales techniques and strategies
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and events to build a sales network and brand awareness
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and the competitive landscape to provide market insights and feedback to the team
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in life sciences, biochemistry, structural biology or related field. Lab experience is a plus.
- 1-5 years of relevant sales experience, with a track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong desire to succeed
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passionate about working with a startup company
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment visa status
- Must live in San Diego and own an automobile.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $79,102.00 per year
