**Who we’re looking for**

This newly established role will work closely with the Global Communications & Brand, Global Public Affairs, and Marketing team, as well as, cross businesses to:

- Create and develop relationships with critical reporters in business and trade media
- Position Topsoe as an influential brand in the energy transition
- Prepare senior leaders for speaking engagements in the US, including speechwriting, presentation materials
- Contribute to US media campaigns
- Build and manage community stakeholder coalitions for potential future factory investments
- Ensure global messaging and tone of voice relevance to the US market
- Monitor and measure share of voice in US media.

**What you’ll bring**
- Have a minimum of 10-12 years experience working in relevant industries, ideally with companies in the energy transition, cleantech solutions, or energy-intensive industries
- Experience in leading PR campaigns and community engagement activities, and in managing media relations and agency collaborations
- Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or Journalism
- Be motivated by the opportunity to work with a truly purpose-driven company contributing directly to carbon emission reductions
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to support the repositioning of an 80+ years old company
- Have a self-driven mindset capable of working independently in the US region, while building strong relationships with teams around the world
- Be open to travel since the role with work out of Washington, DC, but support activities across US, and attend meetings in Denmark.
