**Position Summary**:
The Program Facilitator will lead Saturday Institute programming. Within this role, they empower youth every 1st and 3rd Saturdays to become confident leaders through our character building, career readiness and civic engagement curriculum. This work is done by building strong relationships with parents, girls, mentors, fellow facilitators, recruiting students into the LOV program, facilitating fun and exciting lessons. In addition, our Program Facilitator will assist with planning the LOV year over the summer and at bi-weekly Monday planning meetings. The Program Facilitator will have a deep understanding of the environments and communities in which they work. They will work closely with all departments in LOV to ensure the success of the organization.

Ladies of Virtue is a grassroots, community-based organization. Many of our monthly community events may take place on the weekends and on/near holidays.

**Availability**:
Must have 2 Saturday’s available per month (every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 12pm to 5pm) and 2 Mondays per month available 6-7pm for programming meeting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate small or large group sessions with LOV girls
- Coach, support, guide and hold accountable our LOV girls to participate in

project management, collaboration, and communication training.
- Enhances curriculum based on research, best practices and parent/ participant feedback
- Utilizes creativity to ensure a fun and engaging learning environment
- Work closely with other program facilitators staff to assess, grow and improve programs
- Attend (weekly, monthly) check-in meetings with managers and report on how things are going.
- Other duties as assigned by Founder, Program Manager, and Managing Director of Program Operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree required
- Passion for mentoring youth living in underserved communities; previous experience as a mentor preferred
- Proven experience as program facilitator or relevant position
- Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office
- Availability to work 2 Saturdays per month and attend evening meetings when needed.
- Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and efficient
- Creativity

**About LOV**

Our mission is to instill purpose, passion, and perseverance in girls, ages 9 to 18, while preparing them for college, careers and to become change agents in their communities.

We match our participants with mentors and prepare them for leadership through our culturally relevant character building, career readiness and civic engagement curriculum. We provide project management, collaboration and communication training via our two to four-month project experiences to empower girls to lead in the modern workforce. After graduating from high school, with successful completion of our leadership program, participants are mentored and supported for six additional years as LOV 4 Life alumni.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Evenings as needed
- Weekends only
