**Role: Senior Quality Assurance Inspector**

**Job Summary**: The Senior Quality Assurance Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of products manufactured within the machine shop environment. This position involves performing detailed inspections, verifying compliance with specifications, and maintaining adherence to quality standards. The Senior QA Inspector collaborates closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, contributing to the overall efficiency and excellence of the manufacturing process.
**Qualifications**:
- Zeiss CMM and Calypso software experience (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in quality assurance or related field preferred.
- 5 years’ experience as a quality inspector in a machine shop or manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of machining processes and metal fabrication techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. ASME 14.5Y GD&T is (required)
- Experience using a variety of precision measuring instruments and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards, such as AS9100, and familiarity with inspection techniques and methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify quality issues and discrepancies effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed to support production schedules and quality objectives
