Job Objective:
To conduct thorough inspections of products and audits of quality control initiatives. This role involves inspecting packaging lines and manufacturing processes, as well as sampling and testing incoming materials and components. The inspector is responsible for verifying that raw materials, in-process items, and finished products comply with established company standards. Additionally, the inspector may apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials based on analytical evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate quality feedback to SMT operators during production.
- Document findings using quality assessment tools.
- Conduct First Article inspections.
- Interpret work instructions, deviations, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and travelers.
- Assist in various areas, including TLA inspection, Final Quality Control, and Final Kit Audit Verification.
- 3-5 years of experience in SMT Quality Assurance Control/Inspection processes per IPC-610 class 2,3 (PCBA and Mechanical components).
- Experience in feeder verification both on and off the production line.
- Basic knowledge of component identification, polarity verification, workmanship inspection, and part value verification using digital meters.
- Proficient in using microscopes, Ohm meters, and manual or stationary magnifying glasses.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in computer applications.
Salary Range (annual): $42,000 - $53,000 ($20 - $25 / hourly)
