Job Purpose:

Quality Control Inspector :
Responsible for conducting product inspections and audits of quality control programs. Engages in packaging line and manufacturing inspections, as well as sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures that raw materials, in-process, and finished products adhere to company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials after evaluating analytical data. May review draft and final label copy, utilizing knowledge of labeling regulations. Aims to minimize downtime by reducing production rework and recalls.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
  • Familiarity with IPC 610 standards
  • Ability to identify component values
  • Capability to read Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, comprehend, and follow manufacturing process instructions (MPIs)
  • Proficient in operating Automatic Optical Inspection machinery
Education and Experience:

  • Availability for overtime and weekend work as needed, in addition to a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Ability to read English and communicate effectively with others
  • Must possess the capability to assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
Must be adept at operating hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.
-1 to 2 years of experience as an inspector
