Inspector - Sheet Metal/Machining Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including in-process, receiving, and final inspections. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products throughout the production cycle.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough in-process, receiving, and final inspections on sheet metal components, machined parts, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as dial calipers, combination squares, tape measures, and protractors to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with design requirements.
- Identify and document any defects or non-conformances, escalating issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, machining processes, and electro-mechanical assembly techniques.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and inspection methodologies.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with production teams and management.
