The mission of the Reginald F. Lewis Museum is to document, interpret and preserve the complex experiences, contributions and culture of Black people in Maryland. We serve as a catalyst for sustained change by providing programs and exhibitions and bold conversations that educate and challenge.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**General Administrative Support**:

- Assist the President with day-to-day museum operations
- Maintain and monitor the President’s calendar, scheduling all appointments
- Prepare documents, agendas, presentations and correspondence
- Coordinate meetings and make travel arrangements
- Maintain an effective and efficient administration of the museum’s governance, leadership, fundraising, and general operations
- Board of Directors Liaison: Act as a liaison for the Museum Board of Directors
- Organize executive committee and full board meetings, assist internal staff with their liaison support of the board individual committees
- Prepare board materials, including minutes, meeting schedules, agendas, and various reports.

**Confidential Support**:

- Provide confidential support to the President, board and executive management leadership team
- Be an integral part of the team, actively participating in decision-making processes, and when required, conveying those decisions to the full staff
- Office Management: Oversee the office administrator’s management of office equipment (e.g., copiers, printers), with providing access and instructions to staff on their use
- Oversees and approves requests for office supplies and equipment that the office administrator orders
- Coordinate visits between President and outside publications and build positive relationships between museum supporters and staff

**Customer Relationship Management (CRM)**:

- Provide support to the CRM software (e.g., SalesForce/VeevArt) to ensure adequate reports can be generated, particularly for the dashboard, as requested by thepresident and/or board, when required

**Required Qualifications**:

- At least four years of broad and progressive administrative experience performing advanced, diversified and confidential administrative duties
- Possess exceptional office technology skills including Microsoft and Google products, virtual platforms, and room A/V systems, and a willingness to learn and master new technologies as needed
- Ability to multitask and handle confidential and sensitive information
- Project Management experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Ability to work flexibly and independently, set priorities, work simultaneously on numerous tasks, use good judgment and initiative, and meet/exceed deadlines
- Possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Possess a friendly, dependable, and professional attitude with a welcoming personality
- Have a proven record of solid attendance, strong attention to detail, deep dedication to customer service, and a team approach to work

**Salary Range**: $65,000 - $75,000

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:
