Pay rate: $35 per hour


The Executive Assistant reports to a VP or Executive Director/VP level position and will manage and coordinate a variety of department project and programs. The position will perform administrative duties such as drafting, editing, and typing complex reports, and competently executing or delegating the day-to-day administrative tasks. This role will complete complex reports and schedules, process the collection and management of data, and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers. The role develops, implements and maintains appropriate office protocol and procedures to ensure efficient and timely operations.

Screen and handle routine matters for Office of Vice President; performs administrative duties such as drafting, editing, and typing complex reports, developing, implementing and maintaining appropriate office protocol and organization, as well as competently executing or delegating the day-to-day administrative tasks.


Associates degree required

Five years of related work experience

Able to obtain a comprehensive understanding of departmental and institutional policies and procedures

Knowledge of information technology solutions, including applications and standard office equipment

Knowledge of project management concepts, policies and procedures

Thorough knowledge of office and administrative procedures

Extensive knowledge of business and/or medical terminology

Must have interpersonal skills necessary to handle sensitive and confidential situations, including poise, tact and diplomacy, and to interact with diverse groups of people within the Institution and from outside agencies.
