**What You’ll Do**:
Essential responsibilities include:

- Manage an assigned geographical sales area for Southern California
- Manage key projects through correspondence, schedules and statistical analysis of service and product performance
- Work with QC, Operations and Sales to develop mix design criteria and plant scope, including raw materials such as aggregates, Liquid Asphalt, and additives specific to job needs
- Manage customer relationships at the jobsite level and address issues that arise
- Provide jobsite service and first-line technical advice by coordinating efforts with quality control, safety, environmental and other internal resources as needed
- Coordinate and attend Pre-Construction meetings to have an understanding of job needs
- Work with the sales group to vet and scope out project and/or supply requests
- Advise internal and external parties on material selection.
- Work with logistics/trucking to optimize plant output/capacity and physical truck availability
- Manage submittals and revisions
- Have an understanding of the customer base
- Attend sales huddles to get insight on key projects
- Project will be based on customer service needs (ex., Trucking needs, Sales Demand, highly technical projects, etc.)

**Skills You’ll Need**

**Education.** Bachelor's degree in construction management, business or a material science or construction-related discipline from an accredited college or university preferred

**Experience.** Minimum of three (3) years of Project Management/Operations/Quality Control/Sales experience is preferred or an equivalent education and experience combination.
