Job Summary

The Sales Director is an integral point of contact for our customers in their territory, provides expert advice, knowledge, and solutions for a wide variety of products. Sales Director must be self-starters that are organized, results-driven, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit and proactively expand a portfolio of existing accounts while building relationships with the customers in their assigned geography.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

·         None.

Salary Range $110,000 to $120,000 and Commission is paid at .25% of all sales and the annual bonus is up to 25% of salary based on company and personal sales goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve consistent success for both assigned sales goals as well as assigned performance targets
  • High degree of organizational awareness and ability to navigate organizational matrix to leverage resources
  • High level of motivation and customer focus, continuous improvement mentality required in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders
  • Ability to handle conflicts, influence a broad range of stakeholders and lead/inspire others
  • Strong Time and Territory Management skills for maximizing customer interactions

  • Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory.
  • Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
  • Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
  • Collaborating with the marketing department to expand brand presence through the creation of suitable marketing materials.
  • Researching competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions.
  • Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by management.

  • Up to 40% same-day travel on average (minimal flights and overnight) depending on the location of offices, project sites, and customer need.
  • Must be willing to travel to the following states  AZ, NM, CA, OR, WA and ID
  • Available to work a flexible schedule that may include some nights and weekends.
  • Able to work extended hours as needed.

 

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in direct sales of engineered products or solution-based selling preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Ability to Insure
  • Associates in Business (or related field) preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

 

Physical Demands

·         Prolonged periods sitting.

·         Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

·         Occasionally lift, push, pull and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

Majority of work performed in a general office environment.  Position may require occasional availability for extended hours.
