Access ASU’s programs and initiatives are designed to ensure all Arizona students graduate high school ready to thrive in college and the 21st-century workforce.

**Regular Schedule**: In-person, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday to include evenings and some weekends, as needed. Work schedule must be flexible to accommodate evening and weekend programming. **Essential Duties**
- Work collaboratively Access ASU departments to support programs, events, and outreach efforts through current ASU student participation.
- Provide guidance and supervision to college student employees (SPARKS student workers and Access Guides).
- Manage and support SPARKS student ambassadors, assist with critical professional development of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Provide strategy to recruit, grow, scale, and retain SPARKS ambassadors, CCLI and RISE cohort engagement, and pipeline efforts.
- Provide support for all logístical, programmatic, financial, and business operations for all community collaborations, special events and summer programs.
- Build and manage training curriculum, logístical operations, budget, and implementation of SPARKS program on behalf of the department for all Access programs, special events, and community partners.
- Provide regular training for SPARKS ambassadors, maintain regulations and requirements of Sun Devil Sync, hold elections for SPARKS Eboard members, and general member meetings.
- Meet with campus partners, and student services departments to promote SPARKS and student organization opportunities for involvement and volunteerism with Access.
- Develop strategic action plans in accordance with program objectives and based on data from multiple sources.
- Gather, maintain, analyze, and submit frequent statistical data and reports related to SPARKS and student organization engagement for direct supervisor and executive team.
- Demonstrate relentless commitment to customer service (external and internal), teamwork, and an outcomes-oriented model.
- Demonstrate professionalism in communication and appearance as a representative of Access while serving on various committees and teams in support of departmental goals.
- Travel to off-campus meetings and events regularly.
- Data processing and database management using Salesforce, Stova, Question Pro, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree in a related field AND five years administrative/coordination experience; OR, Master's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND three years administrative/coordination experience; OR Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Evidence of a Master's degree within education, higher education or field appropriate to area of assignment.
- Evidence of being bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with ASU Student organization policies and regulations.
- Evidence of effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in managing and supervising assigned student staff.
- Experience in student engagement efforts in a university setting.
- Experience working with K-12 schools and/or higher education systems.
- Experience working with diverse 5th-12th grade student populations (including first-generation and low‐income students and families).
- Experience collecting and using data to inform decisions.
- Experience coaching or leading a team of college students.
- Experience managing multiple projects, and prioritizing workload with congruent deadlines.

**Working Environment**
- Work collaboratively across various ASU departments within the University, as well as with diverse populations and groups.
- Activities are performed in-person, in an environmentally controlled office setting.
- Work location is primarily at ASU in Tempe, however, the incumbent will regularly be required to travel to off-campus events, and other ASU campuses. A clean driving record, a valid Arizona driver's license, adequate automobile insurance, and a vehicle drivable for long distances within the Phoenix valley are required.
